Very interesting pattern so far. I’ve made it to the tummy. But I stopped as I could not remember how to do a cable cast-on for the five stitches I needed to cast on. To be continued tomorrow. I think this is going to be a quick project. I hope he looks good with this Noro colorway. I am a bit worried. I would have done him in naturals, but I want to save those for a possible sweater project sometime later as I have four skeins of that color.

Ripped this out last night. I just couldn’t do it with the green Noro. Switching to my natural colored stuff. Even though I have 4 skeins and was thinking of doing a sweater.

Thought I should mention that I am loving how the natural colored Noro is looking. So happy I switched. :)

Almost finished with the short row part of the pattern. Just not up for the third set of short rows yet, so on a little break. The hedgehog continues to take shape. The body is all constructed and all I’m working on now is the back. It is really looking cute with the fun fur-esque yarn. I just wish there were an easy way to get all the fur to stick out how it would look best. So far I’ve just been picking it out a little at a time and it could really take a while. I’m thinking maybe a comb or a doll comb could help.

Had a felting party at Holly’s on Friday and now this guy is done done done! I’m not stuffing b/c it’s more fun to have a puppet-like guy who can roll into a ball if he needs to. :)
