I modified this pattern to make the body and sleeves longer and to make it as a pullover instead of a cardigan.

The yarn I’m using isn’t as bulky as what was called for, so I’m just using the stitch pattern (a 1.25” border of Garter Stitch around all edges and a strip down the left front. Buttons will be decorative only) and following just the final measurements.

This pattern lends itself to simple modifications with ease.

I made the neckline lower in the front and higher in the back. It made the sweater lay nicer. But after trying it on, I decided I wanted the front a little higher, so I am crocheting some lacework to firm up the overall structure.

Since this is a special yarn that I made I decided to add some lacework to the very bottom to use up the rest of the yarn.
