Such a quick knit. I cast on in Austria, as I planned to make something to remember this vacation by. Also, I had no hats with me. It was finished on our drive up to the resort.

Would certainly make it again, but in different yarn, this one is a bit stiff for the hat, but it is holding up very nicely. I was worried about it possibly stretching due to the cotton component, but so far…nothing.

It took me only three hours to make, thanks to some uninterrupted driving time.

I especially like the clever cable construction, which actually does not require cabling.
