5/2/12 - I will be adding some notes as soon as I have it blocked. Actually, I’m not sure where I’m going to block it, so it may be a while before pictures are added! At any rate, there are fairly good notes on my blog.

Also - there is an estimated 325 hours of work in this shawl. The math I did and notes I kept indicated 295, but I rounded up to what felt more acurate.

6/14/11 - edging done. Looking back, I hadn’t realized it was on the needles for so long. Time to step it up!

3/13/10 - 1/4 done on the edging!

6/5 - /09 Swatching begins with the Merino Gossamer and the Gossamer Cashsilk after doing one repeat on a dk yarn to familiarize myself with the pattern.

2/29/09 Ordinarily, I won’t list a Ravelry project until I actually cast on. However, this is an important enough piece that I’ve decided to take some time to swatch and plan, and I want to be able to record everything. The sample pack of yarns arrived yesterday, and I will begin swatching probably next week. (I’m finishing up a spinning job this week, and I will want a bit of time to heal my poor dry, abused hands a bit before handling such fine stuff!)
