For my 2013 Halloween costume!! Luna is one of my favorite characters, and as soon as I saw this vest I knew I had to make it!

Love this vest! I made the size 41 1/2” because I wanted some negative ease. I made the body one inch longer than the pattern said to. I am so happy with the way this turned out, it fits wonderfully! I can’t wait to wear it after Halloween - it looks great with collared shirts.

A little unsure of what size to make - I’m in between a 41 and 45, but closer to the 42 (at least in my bust and waist). My gauge is pretty spot on, so I think I’m going to make the 41 1/2 size because I do want some negative ease for this vest. Hopefully it won’t be too tight, but I guess I’ll find out after I drop all those stitches!

Casting on with size 8s. I knit tightly so I’m not at all surprised I went up a needle size. I will also use the German twist cast on to make the edge extra stretchy.
