2/8/11: The cinnamon coloured yarn definitely felted better (more) than the oatmeal. I pummeled it for a bit and stretched it the best I could and it almost evened out.

2/5/11: Curses! After one cycle in the washer, the cinnamon is felting more than the oatmeal. It needs more felting anyway for size, so I’m hoping it evens out a bit.

2/1/11: Finished felting my swatch, done the knitting maths - ready to go!

Based on the pattern listed, but modified a little for size and yarn weight. The top (handle) section is done in moss stitch for a little interest and texture.

The swatch has definitely made me think about doing oven mitts and pot holders in this yarn. Good Christmas gifts, I think!
