I’ve just ordered the rest of this yarn (or rather, given the list to my friend from knitting group who will be placing an order soon), so it’ll be hibernating for a couple of weeks. But I knit the first stripe tonight, and I really do love this yarn.

I used the paint chip method from http://www.wittylittleknitter.com to select the yarns from the Telemark color card. The yarns I chose are going to be perfect I think, they match the paint chips very well!

I will be using: Rosemary for the green, Aubergine for the purple, Poppy for the rust, Grey Wolf for the grey, Caution for the mustard, Almond for the camel, and Persimmon Heather for the bronze.

I might be absolutely insane but I am going to enter this for WIP-Dancing in this year’s Ravelympics! I need to have it done to wear as part of a Fourth Doctor costume at Anime Central this May so if I finish it now that will be a great help!

ETA: I changed the start date to reflect when I really started working on this (I cast on and knit the first 8 rows on Jan 4th but I didn’t really work on this til the 18th when the rest of the yarn came).

I really love this yarn, and I’ve been getting a lot of compliments. I did a little math once I finished a skein and it looks like I’ll be using less than two skeins for most of the colors except tan, green, and one other I forgot. So it might be possible to buy only two skeins of most of the colors, making this a pretty economical Scarf yarn! And it’s WONDERFUL to work with, I’m loving it to death!
