I go through phases where I’ll knit stuff that just looks like a “good time”. Wingspan is one of “those things”. A friend gave me a ball of Zauberbal, with the unlikely colorway name of Tropical Fish….and I just had to give it a whirl. It really takes advantage of those long runs.

I knit it exactly as directed except I added a i-cord bind off (which is where I used the #6 needle), which I thought finished it beautifully, but I needed to use a bit of a second skein, purchased separately. I had been thinking of adding another step, but I’m always knitting scarves too long, so I quit while I was ahead. I have an almost full skein now, and am thinking of making another to give as a gift to someone I REALLY like. It was fun, and easy. I may need to adjust (like only knit 7 repeats), in order to have enough to finish another.
