Notes

Yarn
Cashmere is wasted in combo with the steel wool, which is a bit scratchy, masking the softness of the cashmere. Capretta also has a very fluffy grey halo when knit up that desaturates the color a lot, making it less vibrant. I wouldn’t use this yarn again unless I wanted the halo.

Yardage
I’m finished with 1.5 repeats of the chart and should be though 430 yards but only used 230 so far.

Pattern
Pattern is a clever use of basic stitches--a bit like knitting lace. All the ssk’s and k2tog’s are fiddly and slow, as is holding the steel double, and you have to pay quite a bit of attention but the pattern is easy to memorize after a few rounds. Not gonna finish this in time to ship for Xmas!

Size
Dunno if it’s a mistake but the chart repeats by size are s(m,l) 2(2,4) and 2 seems a little short so I think I’ll try 3.
