Extended the leg with a loop stitch like this:
front side rows: dc across
back side rows: (sc, loop st) across
every other back side row I alternated the loop and sc so the loops were arrayed in a checkerboard.

If I made this again, I’d space the loops farther apart because it took forever!

I actually ran out of yarn and used some other pink from the stash. You can kinda tell, but whatevs.
