Mikayla picked out this wonderful pattern and looked around for just the right yarn she wanted me to make this out of. She decided on Chocolate Raspberry by Traditions. It is a soft yarn but not tightly twisted. It gives a neat look to the knitting though even when some of the black center shows through. I’m not sure how it will hold up but this is such a wonderful pattern that I will deffinitely be making her another one very soon.

9/14/10: Put this on hold after I had her try it on the first time and realize I had made it a bit too large - this year the body is fitting much better and I am now working on the arms to finish it. She has asked me to do 3/4 length sleeves instead of the full length. Hope to finally finish this one up this week. It has bugged me that it has been unfinished for so long.
