All in all, I’m happy with this project -- especially as a first attempt at felting. These hearts are being used in the Knitting Together For Synod 2014 project.

2014/01/18 - Added pictures of the heart bowls that were knitted as part of the workshop I held at Kernersville Moravian Church. Connie knitted the purple multi-colored one, Beth knitted the green one, and I knitted all the red ones.

2013/09/25 - Felted in washer on “sanitary” setting with a pair of jeans and 2 dozen tennis balls. I think that might be too much agitation. The bowl came out with a couple of creases in it that I was not able to completely remove. Also, next time I think I’ll try to use a less aggressive spin cycle than “max extract plus.”

2013/09/24 - Completed knitting, now I need to learn how to felt. If I do it at home, it’ll be in a front-loading HE washer.
