I decided to use different yarn and different colorways, although I like the soft and pure look of the original pattern I do get tiered of only knitting in light colors :)
With rosé I worked the rib.
I changed the color (malve) and worked the rest of the hat.
The circumference of this hat is about 12 inches (30 cm) but it stretches out to up to 13 3/4 inches (35 cm).
So it should fit most newborns.

Ich habe mich für andere Farben als die in der Strickanleitung vorgegebenen entschieden. Auch wenn ich das weiche und unschuldige am Original mag, werde ich es langsam leid, nur in hellen Farben zu stricken :)
In rosé habe knapp 4 cm Bündchen gestrickt.
Dann habe ich die Farbe gewechselt (malve) und glatt gestrickt.
Der Kopfumfang der Mütze beträgt etwa 30 cm, lässt sich aber locker bis auf 35 cm dehnen.
Damit sollte es den meisten Neugeborenen passen.
