Sensible Stash Busting

Really easy, very stretchable hat. The pattern’s kind of boring to knit, but not difficult. I made this in under 100 yards and it took an afternoon.

Followed instructions exactly.

I didn’t swatch, but my gauge was close to spot on. Unblocked, the hat would fit a small head best, but after blocking - and drying the very stretched fabric on a bowl for shaping - I’m hopeful it will fit a large man’s head.

Final measurements: 23 by 9 inches - blocked over a bowl and then pinned to give extra length.
