Easy pattern. I made the adult size. I went down a hook size to a 5.5 (I) as i crochet on the loose side. Corrected Round 5 so that the stitch count would be correct. (fpdc 9, 2 fpdc, repeat.) I made mine 21 rounds.

I love the look of the hat except for the gap in the back close to where the rounds are joined. Not sure why this happens, it’s not the actual join, but between the 1st and 2nd stitch of each round.

Mar 6-Decided to make more of a slouchy hat. Adding the band from the Unforgettable Hat pattern linked above. Added the band and the hat looks better with it folded up than as a slouchy hat in my opinion. Also I like the hat inside out as well. Pretty much a reversible pattern.
