this is SUCH a fun pattern to knit! it’s ingenious, the design and the process. i want to make another pair with a variegated yarn to show off the spirals. this pattern solved a lot of design problems for my daughter: she is an artist who works at home in chicago and the landlord keeps the heat pretty low - she needs to have her fingers free, but she’s cold! and she can’t stand to have anything hugging her wrists - can’t even wear a watch - so the looseness around the wrists was just made for her.
