It was not possible to get the correct gauge with this yarn choice, but I was stubborn and decided to go ahead anyway.

The finished sweater does not have negative ease as is suggested by the pattern, but it still works. (After finishing a ribbed sweater that was designed with negative ease that turned out way too small, I am terrified of not giving myself a bit of extra room!)

I may try to shrink the length a bit when I wash the garment. We shall see …
