Altering the pattern to make sheepy socks for my boss’s dad Steve (Stavros) as he loved the little flock of sheep he used to have, but he sadly had to give up this year due to his age & needing to slow down a little bit.

Cast 68 stitches on in CC.
Switch to MC, knit 2x2 rib for 16 rounds.
On row 17 increase 4 stitches at even intervals across the row. Now have 72 stitches (36 stitches on each needle).
Knit 1 round even.
Now start chart!
Knitted 2 sets of sheep, facing different ways.
Move beginning of round forward by 20 sts before starting heel.
Short-row heel, left 14 sts unwrapped.

Working the toes to be quite blunt to reflect Stavros’ toe shape.
