I got a cone of black Peaches n Creme from the bargains page on the Pisgah site and immediately thought of this bag. My plan is to emulate a colorway I found somewhere in the projects. (Thought I favorited it, but I can’t find it now.) Anyhow, the bottom four squares and the top four squares were done in black solid and the center eight were done in color. I haven’t yet decided what color they will be, so your guess is as good as mine!

I’ll probably recycle an old sheet for the lining because I want to use it as a handbag.

Just finished! This is going to be one of those “go to” projects for me because I’ll be able to do it from memory…no pattern required.

I think the story of how this bag came to be is too long to tell here, so I’ll probably blog about it. Anyhow, long story short: I love this bag even though the “pattern” had me a bit confused at first.
