Introduction:

Gauge calls for 19 sts to 10 cm
I am getting 16 sts to 10 cm on the stocking stitch part…..but if I move my measurement area around and include some cable…I can make it read 19 sts

This makes me wonder about the sleeves which are all stocking stitch……we will see….I’m half way finished the front!

Sept 15 update - finished the front last night - I love the neckline so I’m thinking instead of rib…I will repeat the rows of garter that are on the hem of this as a neckline finish!

I have an idea for a sleeve modification…..this is what is so great about knitting, you can modify, customize…make it your own.

This has been hibernating and I wanted it to be finished before 2015….so today, Jan 1, 2015 I am going to finish this……wish me luck!

Well, that didn’t work and my Emley languished until this past weekend…I wanted it done before I turned the calendar page over to April 2015! Yes, I finished it!
