I had made the ‘Alice in Wonderland’ costume for a previous ‘Alice’ themed event - you can see her here - plus the information on how I made the original costume;

Alice’s body, dress, the ‘Drink Me’ bottle and ‘Eat Me’ cupcake are all crocheted. I added crocheted black bracelets to each of Alice’s arms and a skull and cross-bones to her dress. Pattern link to skull above.
She was too good to be left unused, so I reprised her in ‘Dark Alice’ form for Halloween this year - she was a HUGE hit!!
I changed the make-up style to a Tim Burton inspired Halloween face, added a spider web and a few spiders, and placed two candles (battery operated…) onto the ‘table’ - it gave it an extra spooky glow!
The ‘Freaky Mad Hatter’ in the picture with me is my sister’s costume - her hat, hair and creepy mask are all crocheted!
Soooo much fun freaking people out in this costume!
