These were the first socks I knitted and the directions made it quite simple. I used hand spun Merino wool so I had to do a gauge swatch and then select needle size to suit the size of yarn.

I went on shortly after finishing the first pair, to knit another pair from hand spun, as well. They are of Corriedale wool. Unlike the name of the pattern, these were not stripes. :^)
