I’m so in love with the shape of this scarf and its AMAZING blue! I already know that it will be my favorite scarf for this fall!

• April 10th: Swatch made with 4mm, as i don’t have 3.75mm needles, but it seems ok.
• April 11th: Cast on!!! Whouuu, this yarn is just love, so soft and vibrant, i can’t wait to wear the final shawl. But first, i have to knit 6 long charts… After swatch and before cast on: 102g left
• April 15th: First chart done. The pattern is beautiful, but it requires a bit of mental gymnastics. There are intuitive sections, that’s true, but only if you constantly look at your knitting. But there are also exceptions here and there, and I like to raise my eyes and look around when I knit. So to help me, i colorized each section where the rows are repetitive and placed 2 markers around the center increases/decreases.
• April 19th: Second chart done, and 79g left. So far, so good!
• April 25th: Chart 3 done, 63g left.
• May 25th: I haven’t knit much this month, and let the shawl aside. But i’m back now, and chart 4 is done with 45g left.
• May 31st: Close to the end, chart 5 done and 23g left
• June 4th: Knitting done, yeah yeah!!! The scarf is already very long, and i love the color around my neck, but it needs a good wash and I have to find enough place in my house for the blocking mats…
• June 26: Finally blocked. I managed to strech it to 285cm but not more. Upon reflection, perhaps i would have had enough yarn with 4.5mm.
