Got the yarn on sale, made up the cost difference with buying the dye. Tip: never do a dye project with someone who runs a lab. Turns out that all the fancy testing & calibrating we did was pretty much useless. (Well… mostly.) The red saturated too quickly, and I should have saturated the yellow all the way along to have it show at all in the second last portion. But it will look interesting. (It may end up in the “homemade” category, but oh well.)

Start date is the knitting start, not the project start. (Please don’t ask if I’ve finished dying the yarn yet).
