(Figured out the problem with the edging - the braiding was a bit off from the beginning. Even though they’re not exactly like the ones featured on the pattern page, I’m not going to rip them up. Hopefully I’ll get it right the next time. )

Both mittens done. Only ended up using one skein of the green alpaca for the lining. Very soft and warm! Perfect for cold, norwegian winters.

First lining done. The edging didn’t turn out quite the way i’d hoped - perhaps my lining was too short when I began knitting the gusset for the thumb?

I chose to go with a bright green from Drops for the lining. Both outermittens done! Excited to start with the lining once they’re blocked.

I’ll use the wollen yarn from Rauma for the actual mitten, and super soft alpaca from Drops for the lining. I haven’t decided on a colour for the lining yet. I am thinking a contrasting colour would look good - any tips?
