I saw this afghan in one of my mother-in-law’s crochet books and borrowed it for a good year or so. I loved the look of it, the colors used, and pretty much everything about it.

I decided to use Vanna yarn because the color combinations seemed to have a perfect vintage feel to them, and I wanted it to be cost efficient. It was my first time working with her yarn, and I la-la-love it. I really love the colors. I used beige as the main color, and I like the warmth that it gives the afghan.

I stuck with the pattern for all except the border, which I improvised a little. This afghan is super warm and comfortable.
