Notes for Palladio, Nov 2016:
When I made it to the “knit to x inches from cast on edge on back neck” I measured to see how much was left. And I was already an inch over. My gauge is much much bigger than called for, even tho my swatch from mumble mumble years ago was exactly on the gauge needed. So…. I’ve relaxed a bit, it seems, and wasn’t interested in ripping the whole thing out. So, I only cast on 2 stitches at each underarm. This got me to a stitch count that falls on a smaller size that will work out to the circumference I need for my boobage, and sleeve stitch count one size smaller than the size I’m now knitting. I am confident that sleeve size won’t be too small at the armhole. Hm. Maybe I should try that on…
6/22/2012 Divided my kilo of roving into 1 ounce bumps today and set the goal of spinning 1 ounce of fiber per day for Tour de Fleece. I am pretty certain I can achieve this goal… but laundry, etc, may get neglected!
As of Day 12 (July 11) of the TdF, I had 9 ounces of this spun (I took several rest days from the moorit, brown was getting to be too much).
November 9, 2012 - I have successfully spun 2 more ounces of single this week. Funny moving your wheel into the main living area of the house will get you motivated. Total ounces now in single form: 11
Number of available bobbins: 0.
Nov 27, 12 - Spun another half-ounce today, then while sitting at work realized I forgot to change my ratio. Crap. Hope it’s not too much different from the rest.
January 2013 - OMG Circlet Cardigan?!? http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/circlet-cardigan My SPAKAL may be one of these now!!
February 2013 - and OMG Outlet River?!?

July 2013 - Picked this project back up for TdF 2013. This year, one day Moorit, one day Color. This is my plan to not get bored with this again! Hopefully, I’ll get it all spun up and plied and pretty-fied by the end of this year. Maybe.
07/10/2013 So, so many patterns that could be fantastic in a handspun. So, so hard to decide. I need to get on that before I get to plying, tho, so I know what gauge I’m shooting for. I had thought vodka lemonade, but then a friend made it and I’m not so enamored anymore. My potential list is HUGE.
January 2014 - offically chose Bailey’s as the winner. Now, to get myself to plying!
April 16, 2014 - Test plied and swatched. 3-ply and 4-ply… 3 was 10wpi, 4 was 7 wpi. The 3-ply makes more of a DK weight yarn, so that’s what I swatched with on a US6. Looks like it hits gauge spot on!!! Just gotta give that swatch a little bath and see how she blocks.
April 19 - Official plying has begun! Almost a full bobbin plied in an hour. If I can make myself do 30 minutes a day, it’ll be knocked out! WOOHOO
August 30 - finally cast on.
November 2014 - NaNoSweaMo?
September 2016. Okay, so, now that I have a post-baby body, I don’t think this would be flattering on me. And I’m into knitting pullovers instead of cardigans. SO riiiip it goes. Considering macgowan pullover or midsummer aran or palladio by jane richmond..
Palladio is the winner. Seamless, top down, raglan. Can’t be beat.
