I’m trying out potential motif patterns for a bedspread for my mom. I used stash yarn and made it 6” so I can eventually donate it to charity. I skipped the last round to keep this motif the right size.

I really like the look of this pattern but I’m not sure if it is too openwork for a bedspread.

Updated 12/24: I ended up frogging this. I don’t think it is suitable for a charity square because it is too openwork and I don’t have an immediate use for it. The pattern is lovely though!
