I love this little cardigan. It’s very stylish. I like the way it fits and hangs. The drape of this yarn is perfect for this pattern. This was a super easy pattern. The most difficult part was blocking and sewing back the edges to match properly. (I’m a bit of a perfectionist if you can’t tell.)

Picking up and knitting around the color also posed a bit of a challenge. I needed the stitches to be as evenly spaced as possible. (Part of being a perfectionist.) After some mathmatics and considerable trial and error, here’s what I came up with:
Front: 20 stitches each
Sleeves: 17 stitches each
Back:45 stitches

I did two extra repeats before the end ribbing to make it a bit longer. I thought it was going to be too short for me and I’m only 5’2”. The length is perfect. I’m glad I decided to add the extra repeats.

I did not make a pocket because I knew I would never use a pocket in this sweater. I sewed the entire I cord edging down on both sides.

I love it! I highly recommend this pattern.
