I adored knitting and embroidering these socks, though I forget whenever I start an embroidery project how long it takes me! This was made with my own sock pattern. The embroidery thread is 6 single strands of originally white thread that I bought on ebay and then dyed in various shades of pinks and purple to make these. I think the chain stitch is my favourite embroidery stitch ever. It never lies to you how much thread it’s going to take, unlike my satin stitch, which I ended up trying to dye another batch of to somewhat match what I already had when I ran out!
