This was a nice quick knit, to take my mind off having a cold! I cast on 280 stitches.

I love the way the yarn is carried up the sides to frame the square ends of the stripes, but I’m not so keen on the other ends of the rows, they’re a bit disjointed, I may try and sew the ends of the cream rows together at some point. If I was doing this again I might experiment with short rows at the far ends, not carrying the coloured yarn right to the end of the row, to make a smoother edge.

But I love the general effect - my handspun yarn is very subtly striped, but the stripes do just about show up.
