Wondering if I have enough of my Christopher Sheep Yarn for doing this in that…
Well I am not quite sure I have enough of my MC yarn and my skeins were all pretty darn small so… let’s hope this all comes together to fit the idea in my brain.
07/26 - First 30 rows in. The body color is more like the swatch but I take late night photos quite a bit. My “leaves” are being turned into buds with just color changing to the same yarn I plan to use for my flowers. The multiple hanging threads for the vines drive you a bit batty, but if I can manage to get all the vines out of the brown then I will be happy as a clam since I only have one skein of that anyway!
7/31 - Starting armhole decreases. Looking pretty good on the brown yarn yardage.
8/1 - Finished the main section of the back. About to start cuffs. Had enough brown to do fancier cuffs with vines.
8/5 - Well after trying several combinations with the cuffs and then frogging and restarting.. I am now up to one and a half cuffs. I will be adding leaves and bobbles in the Chris Robin, but working so many threads I think it will be easier to add them after.
8/14 Starting the long seed stitches of the second sleeve.
8/19 Nearly done with the second sleeve.
8/29 I have both sleeves done and blocking. Started on the left front.
9/1 Left front complete up to the pocket, collar and placket.
9/21 Finished both fronts and the petals for the three flowers on the back. I need to seam, finish pocket and add the button placket and collar I am going with, but the collar portion is waiting on the buttons so that I get the hole set up right.
9/22 Now seamed and with pockets.
9/26 I am counting this as done. I may add some addition to the front vine at some point and I do need to add a small snap at the collar to help with how it lays, but not bad for 4th sweater with all the mods.
