This colorway reminds me of the Female/Juvie Evening Grosbeaks.

7/10 - Let this be a lesson to me…. Thou shallt not attempt to learn chart reading and lace knit on planes. I started this first at 3AM at Seatac after staying up for most of the day… then I frogged it and restarted in Amsterdam and worked a couple inches when I got back. But I’ve got problems. First section looks correct, but the second section feathers are split… so it looks like I may be frogging again.

8/4 - Starting on Chart 2 after my third frogging. Firstly one should remember that the stitch markers in this pattern are not in set spots, they move a stitch forward or back in the rows and that is OK and normal. Secondly…. the Chart two looks to have one overlap row labeled as the middle repeat. (viewing the overview charts make this pretty clear, but the minty green at the end of the first part chart and start of the second part of the chart are the SAME row… do not duplicate it! Or go insane trying to figure that out!)
