Had 20 stitches left at end of first needle section…kept restarting (5x) lol!!! but couldn’t get it to work. Emailed Designer for help 1/8/18 but never heard back from him…
3/18 Update…my amazing friend Melinda just rescued me. She brilliantly read the pattern, knit the first section and worked out that I was misinterpreting the placement of the German short rows. In future on this pattern I will be turning leaving a unknit stitch between the turns when the pattern says “k to one stitch before previous SLPYO”. The knit is currently afoot! Thanks to a super generous friend.
Minor issues with pattern. This pattern has not been updated. Errata (year old) not added to PDF…Line numbers (section six) are not correct. I am getting a beautiful result so my feedback on this pattern is go for it and be willing to jump the fuzzy bits of the pattern.
My two color - high contrast interpretation is really pretty. I am enjoying the results. Can’t wait to wash this cashmere cotton and dry on high heat for 30 minutes. It will transform and be buttery soft! Highly recommend this yarn.
Finishing Nightmare- It’s almost fringe! 69 ends to sew in. See backside pic
April 16 update-been doing a few every day to break up the task…34 more ends to sew in.
Done!!!! So soft!!!! Hot water dish soap wash then 30 min in hot dryer with three wet towels. Shrunk/scrunched from 82” x 37” to 70” x 30”
