Gauge 22 x 33

Needle: 3.5 for body, 3.0 for ribbing and 4.0 for sleeves

Although I followed the pattern a lot closer than the last time I knitted one of Anke’s designs, I had to do some mods because of the different gauge. Besides that, I wanted to duplicate the fit of my favorite cotton sweatshirt.

So here’s what I did:

• CO 130 st
• from BOR k 21, pm, k 20, pm, k 48, pm, k 20, pm, k 21, pm
• After separating sleeves I had 58 st on waste yarn, 75 st for front and back and 21 st between the markers
• After working even for 5 cm started short rows for bust shaping (5 pairs, 5 st interval)
• Followed pattern until body measured 31cm from underarm
• Ribbing for 8 cm
• Sleeves: total of 64 st, followed pattern instructions for the 4th size
• Extra long sleeves, nice with the crescent ribbing

I love this sweater! It’s so versatile, and the fit is exactly as I hoped for. The yarn combination is almost an exact copy of the yarn I used for my Birkin. The color is really beautiful, and ah! the softness (no words here)!
