I’m making this square for my “Be of Good Cheer” Samplerghan. :o)

I don’t think we’re currently allowed to add the motifs in this book to the Ravelry database as individual patterns. (They consider it a stitch directory…?)

Anyway, this 12” square is made up of four of motif #62 (pg. 149).

I changed the last round of the motif-- decreased the chain loops to 3 ch each-- to make sure I had enough room for a border. I connected them mostly according to the method in the book, then I crocheted around the square. One “granny round” followed by sc in each st.

41 sts per side on last round (not counting corner ch sp).
