Lovely and interesting pattern to crochet! The center is relatively simple, but the rest of the doily is filled with texture. Just a lot of fun to make-- and the long-repeat variegated thread made it even more entertaining.

I don’t usually want to make the same doily multiple times (with a few exceptions), but this is one I could imagine making again.

Thread:
I found two knots in close succession in this skein of thread, so far. (The doily didn’t take the whle skein, so there may be more knots in what’s left over.) That’s not ideal, but the brilliant colors and slow color changes far outweigh the inconvenience of a knot or two.
