Followed the same basic method in an earlier pillow project with the same pattern. I made this one larger, though-- about 18 inches in diameter.

I think it used up at least 3/4 of the skein of yarn. Plenty of leftovers, but it does use a lot of yarn-- and this was with a simple, flat back without those yarn-gobbling petals. If you’re making both sides with petals, you’ll need a lot of yarn.
