Used 3 needle BO for shoulders as Kitchener wouldn’t be firm enough. Used Kitchener for hood; saw no reason to bind off and sew as pattern suggested. Picked up stitches and knitted sleeves instead of knitting and sewing in.

After trying on granddaughter, had to open up hood and make larger, which also meant re-doing front edging. The wonderful Cora has a generously sized head.
