I LOVE this shawl ~ made with 8 oz of beautiful falkland wool (handspun) by the very talented Monika (Smoking Hot Needles).

I didn’t quite use all 700 yards but I eliminated 2 rows at the bottom before the last chart because I began to have concerns about running out of yarn. In retrospect I probably would have been fine. This pattern consumes a lot of yarn - therefore - if you go up a needle size (as I did) you will need to plan to use a lot more yarn. If you look through other project notes you will see that the yardage used is all over the place.
