This pattern is beautiful! Separated the sleeves last night and am about 2 inches down the body.

23/4/12 Finally managed to get a fitting today. Ufortunately my model is bigger than her mum had led me to believe and I think I should have been knitting a size bigger. However the yarn is knitting up quite densly so I think I can block it quite heavily which should make it ok. The swatch grew a bit even though I was very gentle with it.

Having thought I’d calculated the extra length it now looks far too long so I’m knitting a sleeve while I wait for the next fitting. I’m thinking it would be an idea to tell people to make a note of which cable row they are on when they place the sleeves on holders.

2/5/12 Still on hold as my victim is in the middle of a house move, so unavailable for fitting.

21/5 Finally finished, now washed and waiting to be blocked

This turned out longer than I intended, partly through blocking too much and also cos I would have liked to do more fittings. Charlotte really likes it though and has been wearing it with leggings
