A highly versatile crescent with modular design elements, suitable for lace to DK weight.

Easily adaptable to a range of yardages. Add the accent rows or start the lace whenever you like, and switch between the elements as you like. Repeat the lace as many times as you like to use all your yardage.

In my small sample:

A note on yarn weight: the pattern is designed to be adaptable to a range of yarn weights from lace to DK. It knits up beautifully all in the same weight, or with the two main yarns in the same weight, and the CC2 in a slightly heavier weight, as per my sample.

My sample used three different yarn bases. I would describe the two main yarns (dark brown and lighter variegated) as feeling like a heavy fingering weight to me, and the terracotta was the thickest of the three yarns, a sport weight or DK.

I kept my sample a little on the small size, but it could easily use all of two 100g skeins plus a mini for contrast, or two minis for a larger contrast.
