Love this pattern and made both V neck and round neck versions.

I added 4 stitches each side after the first few neck rows on the round neck to make a buttonhole/button band and omitted the picot hems.

On the V neck I would suggest casting on an extra stitch or two, and doing the yarn over increase at the neckline, inside these stitches. Just makes the neckline a bit firmer. I shall be doing that on the next one.
