Notes

After suffering a head injury in late summer 2016 I eventually returned to work in the November but my driving licence was revoked for a year so I had to commute on the bus. I knitted these to keep my hands warm but also I picked a convertible mitten pattern so that I could easily use my phone without needing to take them off.

The pattern is gorgeous and easy to knit. I did all the rib in black because I didn’t quite have enough yarn otherwise, but I actually think it looks better this way as it gives some contrast to the other colours.

The yarn was a free sample and I’m very pleased with it. A year on and after heavy use, the yarn hasn’t pilled at all. They look as good as the first day I wore them!
