Sooo, when I got this issue of Creative Knitting, there were two sweaters I loved in it’s pages, and this one is first on my list. I am knitting it in #10 croceht cotton, so the look will be very different than the model…I am hoping for a drapey sheen in a very open lace, and I may add some pearl beads into a picot edge on the front.

The bridesmaids will be wearing “apple” red (from David’s Bridal), and this yarn matches the color almost perfectly! The flower girl will have a white dress, so I am hoping this shrug/bolero is a nice compliment. ;o)
