With this set, I’m using a smaller needle than the Christmas cloths…not a 3, but smaller. I am finding that I prefer the size 7 needle to the 6. I can imagine doing them on 3s, but I can’t imagine ME doing them on 3s. I like the fabric a 7 (4.5 mm) makes the best with this yarn. If I want some smaller cloths, I would have to choose a lighter cotton AND smaller needles.

I will also be using my own pattern for a couple of variegated cloths (but only working up to 43 stitches)…I’m thinking this will be one set of boy cloths and one set of girl cloths. These are motivated more by the color choices than by the need for actual baby cloths.
