I did not download the pattern, or print up the free instructions, but I think I know grannies well enough…we shall see how this works with my color choices!

This is probably the product of my laziness, but instead of all the small squares around the 9-patch blocks, I am going to do borders in blue (2 rounds). Then, I’ll just join the larger blocks on the second round. I think it will look more like sashing that way…oh, and it will be so much faster and easier! :) Laziness rocks sometimes!

Ok, I am loving how this is turning out! After joining all of the blocks, I am adding 3 rounds of the blue, then 1 round each (pink, yellow, pink, yellow, pink), 1 granny round blue, 1 round sc, then a border in blue…
