Third one…sometimes the instructions are just hard to read, but, sometimes I think they’re wrong. Read carefully, noting how many increases and decreases are required on any given row, and where they occur, and make sure your numbers match up.

Mods:
Legs - I knit them as written, up to the part where you start to shape the tops of the legs. Instead of doing the cast-off-y part, I worked short rows, then drew my yarn through all of the top stitches and around the top opening of the leg, cinching it closed. I stuffed and seamed the rest of the leg (mattress stitch, no turning), then tacked the legs, through the body, to one another, knotting near the joint, and burying the end.
