OK, I was supposed to knit a hat of Italian yarn for my cousin two years ago…I am going with that for my CKW Ravellenic project. It will be good to get that done before another winter passes us by…I am such a bad gift knitter sometimes…I hope she likes the hat enough to forgive my tardiness!

08.11.12 - So, the hat is finished…and the flower is finished. Every time I try to attach the flower, it pulls too much on the hat…disappointing. I think the hat is too big, now that it’s blocked, but Dollface says it’s perfect… We will see what dear cousin thinks!

Cast on 88.
Work through chart until you have decreased to 9sts on each repeat.
Purl one row.
k2tog, k3, k2tog.
knit row.
k2tog, k1, k2tog.
purl row.
(k2tog, k1) around (16sts remain).
Draw yarn through remaining sts and fasten off.
