Loosely based on above mentioned pattern. Changed some needle sizes, used worsted weight, kept stitch counts, and Mods below:
Hat #1 - with brim to turn up, size woman
Cast on 88
Rib 48 rows, size 5 ndls. (about 6”)
Switch to size 7 ndls, and knit around 20 rows until total length is about 9 inches.
Decrease 8 sts every other row until 16 sts remain, and close top.
Hat #2, #3 - beanie style, size men
Cast on 96
Rib 16 rows, size 5 ndls. (about 2”)
Switch to size 7 ndls, and knit around 28 rows, until total length is about 6 inches.
Decrease 8 sts every other row until 16 sts remain, and close top.
Hat #4 - beanie style, size men
Cast on 96
Rib 12 rows, size 6 ndls.
Switch to size 8 ndls, and knit around 30 rows, alternating colors on each round, until total length is about 6 inches.
Decrease 8 sts every other row, continuing with stripes until 16 sts remain, and close top.
Hat #3 (option) - with brim to turn up, size man
Cast on 96
